Four girls volleyball teams from South Bay headed to Las Vegas for Durango Fall Classic

The Mira Costa, Redondo, South Torrance and Torrance girls volleyball teams will be competing this weekend in Las Vegas in the Durango Fall Classic.
The two-day tournament begins Friday and features some of the top competition in the nation. The 64-team field starts with 16 pools of four teams.
Redondo is the top seed in Pool 9 and will play pool-play matches Friday against Skyview (Idaho), Durango (Las Vegas) and Flintridge-Sacred Heart.
South is the No. 2 seed in Pool 6 and will face Xavier College Prep (Arizona), Coronado (Nevada) and South Pasadena.
Mira Costa is the top seed in Pool 11 and will face St. Ignatius (San Francisco), Hockaday (Dallas) and Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas).
Torrance is the third seed in Pool 15. The Tartars will meet Torrey Pines, Branson and Arbor View (Las Vegas).
There will also be Silver, Bronze, Classic and Challenger divisions.
