Sea Hawks soar to 2nd place in the Ann Kang Invitational Tournament

The Varsity team had a great start to the 2024 Season, coming in at 2nd place at the Ann Kang Invitational in Hawaii, 15-17 August 2024. On the final day the girls defeated LB Poly to win their pool, moving them into the semi-finals where they had an outstanding win against Mira Costa. And came in runner up to Byron Nelson from Texas, in the grand final.

Our team was awarded the Kang Ohana ONE TEAM award “…a prestigious award given to the team that best exemplifies the ‘Iolani School tradition “One Team” demonstrating character not show, action not credit, effort not talk, team not self”. What an honor and well deserved girls!

Special mention also goes to Bella Jones and Abby Zimmerman for being selected to the all-tournament team. Well done!

Final Day Game Replays
